Johns Hopkins Cancer Genome Study
Unearths Trove of New Cancer Genes

Researchers were surprised when they uncovered 189 genes previously unknown to play a role in cancer after sequencing the protein-coding regions of around 13,000 well-characterized genes in breast and colon tumors.
