Senate Unanimously Passes GINA, Though With
‘Compromises’; Now Faces Sympathetic House

The main compromise in the Senate's bill is the adoption of language appearing in the House bill intended to limit, but not completely prevent, employees from suing their employers for being denied insurance based on genetic information obtained by a payor.
